From Struggle to Strength: My Journey to Lasting Health

Hi, I’m Janet Wanjiru — a Body Transformation Coach and the founder of the E.A.S.E.™ Method — a holistic, science-backed system created to help women over 40 lose stubborn weight, restore their energy, and reclaim their bodies and lives — without restrictive diets or punishing workouts. But this isn’t just a profession. It’s deeply personal.

For years, I lived in a body that felt foreign. I silently suffered with IBS, constant bloating, low energy, and a midsection that wouldn’t budge, no matter how hard I tried. Doctor after doctor. Medication after medication. And still — no relief. In fact, the more I tried, the worse I felt.

How It All Changed For the Better:

Until one day, a gastroenterologist looked me in the eye and said: “Work on your diet. Reduce your stress.” It felt vague. Confusing. Even frustrating. But something in me shifted. I was done feeling like a stranger in my own body. That was the turning point. I began stripping away the foods that hurt me and started nourishing myself with real, whole, healing food. I returned to movement I loved — dancing — something that used to bring me joy in my younger years. And something amazing happened…

The weight started to fall off — without obsession. The bloating disappeared. The fog lifted. I felt happy. Hopeful. Alive. I haven’t taken medication for IBS in over 10 years. Even after three major surgeries, including one at 40, I bounced back faster and stronger — because my body had become resilient through nutrition, strength training and self-care.
